Local student Alyssa recently completed her high school senior project followed by a paid summer internship at RSA. She comments, “Before senior project I was apprehensive about committing to a college major and future job that I had no previous involvement in... I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity because it enabled me to get involved in my field of interest, and I have also gained valuable work experience. I was able to work with the CAD program that I will be using in the future, and while I’ve been scanning files I’ve been exposed to all sorts of different types of drawings such as elevations, floor plans, site plans, wall sections and details… the experience and knowledge I’ve gained will benefit me in college, and has given me a solid foundation for my future as an architect.”
